Meet Gabe Yacono

 Gabe is a 11 Year old driver from Salisbury NC.  He drives a winged outlaw kart, competing in the Box Stock and Jr Wing classes.

     Gabe’s love for racing began at the age of 3, when he got his first go kart.  At the age of 5 Gabe began competing in the cadet class at Millbridge and Mountain Creek Speedways.  In 2020 Gabe graduated to the Beginner Box Stock Class.  Since then he has been gaining experience traveling to local race tracks.  He holds the 2022 and 2023 beginner box stock championships at CrossAnchor Speedway.  The 2023 Saturday series beginner box stock championship at Millbridge Speedway.  He was also crowned the inaugural champion of the Maxxis Carolina Wing Kart series.  Gabe will be competing at CrossAnchor Speedway,  Millbridge Speedway, and with the Carolina Kart Series during the 2025 season. 

   In addition to racing, Gabe participates in competition swimming with the RAC and Salisbury Cyclones teams. He also runs cross country with his middle school.
